Rick Leach - 2005, 2006, 2008

Rick has a long and distinguished career as a doubles specialist that began in 1987 when he turned pro. He amassed over 25 doubles titles including 2 Grand Slams in men's doubles at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. Although he was successful with a variety of partners, his major victories came with Pugh and Ellis Ferreira.

Rick became the first four-time All-American singles and doubles champion at the University of Southern California, where he played for his father (Dick) and won the 1986 NCAA Doubles titles.

In 2000 Rick decided to retire and join his father at his Alma mater USC as an assistant coach. In 2001 the veteran left-hander came out of retirement to extend his doubles title streak to 15 consecutive years….the longest on the tour. At 36 he became the oldest player (since Sherwood Stewart at 40) to win an ATP Doubles title.

Rick is married to wife Christi and has a daughter Paulina Christine and is still going strong on the ATP Tour.
