KIMBERLY PO- 2011
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Kimberly Po trained under tennis coach Robert Lansdorp. After two years playing for UCLA, Kimberly turned professional with a career spanning from 1991-2002. Kimberly’s career high world rankings placed her at No.6 in doubles and No.14 in singles. In the year 2000, she won the mixed doubles title at Wimbledon. She also placed as a finalist in the US Open mixed doubles and women’s doubles 1999 and 2001 respectively. In 1997, Kimberly reached the singles quarter finals of the Australian Open. Additional honors include the 1994 Karen Krantzke Sportsmanship Award and the 1996 WTA Tour Players Association Vice Presidency. Her son, Tristan, was born in 2003 followed by a daughter in 2008. After working for several years as a USTA National Coach, she is now coaching part time while raising her children in Rolling Hills Estates, CA.
