a career 107 singles titles and is the winner of 22 Grand
Slam Singles Titles and one doubles. She is the 4th woman
to win the Grand Slam, winning all major titles in one calendar
year in 1988 and only woman all-time to win all four Grand
Slams at least four times.
She holds an Olympic Gold in singles in Seoul. She was
ranked No. 1 in the world and held the No. 1 ranking for
377 non-consecutive weeks and 186 consecutive weeks and
held the No. 1 ranking in the world eight times, the most
of any player ever.
Stefanie retired in August of 1999, married Andre Agassi
in 2001, and together, the couple has two children. In 1991,
Stefanie founded the Steffi Graf Youth Tennis Center in
Leipzig and is also the founder and chairperson for Children
for Tomorrow, a non-profit organization focused on supporting
children and families who are victims of war, persecution
or organized crime.
